Privacy Policy

Your money is personal, and we treat it that way. This policy explains, in plain language, what data PlusFinance collects, why, who processes it, and how you can access, correct, or delete it.
1. Who we are
PlusFinance is a sole proprietorship based in India, operated by Akshay Bhatt. We provide financial services and a portfolio dashboard at app.plusfinance.in. For anything in this policy, contact info@plusfinance.in.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the service needs:
- Account data — name, email address, mobile number, and date of birth.
- Financial data you or your advisor enter — investment holdings, transactions, goals, budgets, insurance policies, and liabilities shown in your dashboard.
- Technical data — basic analytics on the marketing website (www.plusfinance.in) via Google Analytics. The dashboard app itself does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
3. Why we process it
- To provide the portfolio dashboard and keep it in sync for you and your family members.
- To let your financial advisor view the data you choose to share (you control this with the “Visible to Expert” setting).
- To send WhatsApp renewal reminders — only if you have explicitly opted in.
- To send service emails such as family invitations and responses to your requests.
4. Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers to run PlusFinance:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your data.
- Vercel — website and application infrastructure.
- Zoho Mail — sending service emails.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — delivering renewal reminders to opted-in users only.
- Google Analytics — visitor statistics on the marketing website only.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data (most data can be edited directly in the dashboard).
- Erase your data by deleting your account — use the “Delete Account” option in the dashboard (available to the head of the family), or email us. Deletion is completed within 15 days of the request.
- Raise a grievance by emailing info@plusfinance.in. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you (or the head of your family account) request deletion, we permanently delete the family’s account data and logins within 15 days.
7. How we protect it
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security so each family can only see its own data, and advisor access respects your sharing setting. Sessions sign out automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
8. Children
PlusFinance accounts are intended for users aged 18 and above. Financial details of minor family members may be recorded in a family account by its adult account holder.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email.
